Another tooth!

Today at dinner, Nate lost another tooth. This is the second he has lost at a restaurant. This one, however, had its full share of emotions. The tooth was so loose it was sticking out horizontally from his mouth, and yet he "couldn't" pull it. Finally, after a long ordeal, during which most of the rest of the family had finished their dinner, he pulled it out.

And immediately all tears were gone, all fear had vanished. :)

This time it's on the way home from a grocery store trip with Dad...poor thing.

These mini naps throw him off for the whole day.

Car line nap time

I decided to pick up the boys from school today since it was a half day and I thought it would work out well.

Poor Novak didn't last 10 minutes in the car. By 11:28 he was sound asleep. After picking up the boys and waiting in a 25 minute Subway drive through line, I think this is all the nap we will get.

So much for getting stuff done during naps today!

Presents from Novak

I'd like to think that Novak left me a little gift to remind me of him as I go to bed.

However, I know that's not quite the case.

Just about every table in our house has a LEGO man on or near it. Novak likes to pick up things (especially LEGO minifigures) and carry them around the house. He will then deposit them wherever he finds the next interesting thing. Here, I'm sure it was my bedside lamp, which he loves to turn on and off (and leave on...).

Novak always has something in his hands. We often find things he has carried into his brothers' bedrooms. Believe it or not, he finds lots of interesting stuff to grab his attention in there!

I think I'll just enjoy this one as another "Novi present."
