Choppers

This week Novak cut both of his two lower front teeth. So for teeth anyway, he doesn't follow Nate's lead. Nate didn't have a tooth until he was over a year old.

I will try to catch a picture when they get more visible. For now at least I have the event documented!

"Mango" Fett

The boys are playing with their Star Wars LEGOs.

Nate has decided that his guys are all on the same team - the "Mango" Fetts. And they all have the same face. I'm assuming they are clones of someone.

I wonder what Jango Fett would think about his brethren.

Donut confusion

Nate: "Mom...that jelly donut was...amazing! The sugar, the jelly, it's just...yum. It's so good."

Me: "Would you like the other half?"

Nate: "No, I don't really like the jelly."

Novak at Six Months!

Becky and I took Novak to get his pictures taken on Sunday.  Here are a few of my favorites.

You can't see it well in these two shots, but this is a little one piece summer outfit with a letter "n" on the front.  It's really cute - and he's almost too big for it!  I was glad I pulled it out for pictures because we may not be able to wear it much this summer...

Novak is one of the happiest babies I know.  Reminds me of Nate.

Had to get at least one shot of him in nothing but a cloth diaper.

Star Wars junkie

Nate has become a Star Wars junkie...and I love it!

We've been enjoying watching the movies together.  He loves to see the Death Star explode in Episode IV, but really I think he loves them all equally.

I took this video a while ago (back in mid-March), but I've been meaning to share it.  Finally I get a few minutes on the computer to get it uploaded!

(I have been trying to upload this video for two full days.  You don't know how ecstatic I am that it finally is done.  Really.)

First Bites...

This week we gave Novak his first baby food.  Although I've read mixed reviews on whether to start with cereal, we decided that it was best for us.

With Nate and Nile, we started cereal and baby food at around 4 months.  We decided to wait longer with Novak.  So, there was almost NO learning curve for him.  He knew exactly what to do when that spoon came up to his mouth (guess he's been watching those big brothers eat!).

I just LOVE this picture of him with his messy face... :)

Today, Nile and I made Novak some "real" baby food - we cooked and pureed carrots.  We've entered the big time now!

Nile hasn't been getting much attention in this blog lately. So - look what a great job he did writing his name today!
